Union pour la Méditerranée : For'UM des financements de projets de l'UPM

La coprésidence franco-égyptienne de l'UPM, en partenariat avec la Banque Mondiale, l'AFD, la Caisse des Dépôts, la BEI, la Cassa di Depositi, la KFW, et en association avec un très grand nombre d'acteurs de la vie économique en Méditerranée, organise le For'UM des financements de projets de l'UPM, qui vise à présenter au secteur privé les projets concrets incubés depuis 2 ans, et ce avant la fin de la coprésidence.

Cet évènement se tiendra en présence de Madame Lagarde, Monsieur Guaino, le Commissaire Füle, le ministre Rachid, et avec la participation de très nombreuses personnalités du secteur privé de Méditerranée.

La veille, le Fonds Inframed aura été officialisé et le For'UM sera l'occasion de communiquer sur l'équipe de direction de ce Fonds de 450 millions d'euros, les orientations dans le domaine des infrastructures, et l'élargissement à venir des ressources. Le diagnostic de la mission Milhaud sera établi et pourra faire l'objet d'une présentation. Enfin, dans les sessions « investisseurs » seront présentées les principales initiatives (comme Transgreen) et les projets concrets susceptibles d'intéresser les investisseurs.

The Franco-Egyptian co-presidency of the UfM in conjunction with the World Bank, the French Development Agency, the Caisse des Dépôts, the European Investment Bank, the Cassa di Depositi, the KFW and together with a host of representatives of the Mediterranean business community is organizing the For'UM for the funding of UfM projects with a view to presenting the concrete projects incubated for the past two years to the private sector, before the co-presidency draws to an end.

This event will be attended by Ms Lagarde, Mr Guaino, Commissioner Füle and Minister Rachid as well numerous key private sector stakeholders from the Mediterranean area.

The InfraMed Fund will have been officialised the previous day and the For'UM will be able to present the management team of this 450 million Euro fund, the initiatives taken in the realm of infrastructure and the planned extension of resources. An assessment will be made of the Milhaud mission and may be the subject of a presentation. Finally, "investors" sessions will provide an opportunity to discover the main initiatives such as Transgreen as well as various concrete projects of potential interest to investors.
